This course is designed for new employees or others who would benefit from a basic introduction to ophthalmology.
We will discuss the parts of the eye, the field of ophthalmology (professional degrees, business challenges, major organizations and meetings, publications) and provide an overview of the major ophthalmic subspecialties, including cornea, cataract/IOL, refractive, glaucoma and retina -- in layman's terms.
